The Battle of Britain Memorial on Kent's famous White Cliffs combines a place of remembrance with an exciting insight into one of the most important battles ever fought by this country.

The Wing is home to The Scramble Experience, an audio-visual introduction to the Battle that offers hands-on fun, interactivity and a wealth of information, all built around a unique and moving film that brings to life the bravery and sacrifice of Churchill’s ‘Few’.

Outside is the National Memorial to the Few, a thought-provoking statue of a seated airman gazing out over the English Channel, the Christopher Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall, which lists the names of those known to have taken part in the 1940 victory over the Luftwaffe, and a replica Hurricane and Spitfire. Coach park, shop, facilities and café.
