Hotwalls Studios, Portsmouth’s exciting creative quarter, where the city’s historic fortifications have been transformed into thirteen working studios and a waterfront dining space.
The Hotwalls Studios are 13 artists studios designed to allow visitors to watch some of the city’s most creative individuals at work. Visitors are able to purchase and commission professional pieces from the artists and makers themselves.
Each individual studio is open for a minimum of 30 hours a week and as working hours vary, please see individual studios for more details.
There is the chance to see every Hotwalls Studios artist at work as all the studios open collectively every 3rd Sunday of each month 11am-4pm.
There will be opportunities to visit the Round Tower as it opens for events throughout the year.

Covid-19 Specific Information
In line with the government’s latest requirements, the Hotwalls Studios will be closed to the public from the 5th January. We look forward to welcoming visitors when restrictions for non-essential retail are lifted. The artists will continue to work from their studios and can be contacted for online sales and commissions. For updates on events and reopening follow @hotwallsstudios on social media.
