Marlborough is a vibrant market town bang on the middle of the GWW route. Picturesque, historic and charming - it is the ideal stopping off point along the route. Perfect for coach loads, it is due to be awarded Coach Friendly Status this coming spring, thanks to the town having user-friendly dropping off and picking up spots for coaches on the High Street, as well as 3 large parking bays and one half bay in the George Lane Car Park. As well as parking, there is a coach drivers rest room, public toiles and a Tourist Information Point adjacent. So not only perfect for the drivers but the visitors too, with a whole host of independent shops, a biweekly market, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and tea rooms. What better place to stop for a cup of tea and a pee!?
