Merriments Gardens is a beautiful 4-acre RHS Partner Garden set in rural East Sussex. Designed to inspire visitors through the seasons, the year starts with a pastel palette of Spring bulbs & drifts of Camassia in the Grass Meadow. Developing through the months, the hotter the weather, the more vibrant the colours become. Sweeping borders imaginatively designed with carefully chosen planting combine colour, form & texture to ensure that each area blends seamlessly into the next to create a satisfying & harmonious whole. Under new ownership since 2017, a programme of works is ongoing to restore the Gardens. We specialise in growing perennials all on a South facing site with good parking & easy access with a Plant Centre, Shop & new Cafe designed to accommodate groups & coach bookings.

We are constantly reviewing our Covid -19 safety measures on site to ensure we stay up-to-date with the latest Government guidelines. We are a large open-air site with ample space in our car park and seating in our Cafe. We only accept one coach or group booking on site at any one time.
