Prepare to be amazed!

Salisbury Cathedral has Britain’s tallest spire, the world’s oldest working mechanical clock and best preserved original 1215 Magna Carta. Set within the UK’s largest Cathedral Close (80-acres of rolling green lawns fringed by historic houses) it is one of the finest examples of Early English Gothic architecture, built in just 38 years between 1220 and 1258.

Explore Britain’s largest cloisters with their fabulous views of the Spire then enter the heart of the cathedral and view its soaring arches and incredible artworks, including William Pye’s ‘Living Font’.

Then view our priceless UNESCO protected 1215 Magna Carta which sits within a permanent exhibition in the exquisite Chapter House, which also boasts a magnificent 13th century carved frieze.
