Visit Shakespeare’s Family homes in Stratford-upon Avon. Walk in his footsteps and see where his life began.
Start with the Birthplace – Shakespeare’s childhood home in the heart of town. Hear tales of family life, get up close to objects from the Trust’s world class collections and discover how the extraordinary playwright continues to shape our lives today.
Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the 500-year-old family home of William Shakespeare’s wife-to-be. Anne was born here and it's where the young Shakespeare would have courted her. See original furniture including the Hathaway bed and wander through beautiful gardens and orchards.
Be inspired at New Place, the site of Shakespeare's family home for 19 years. No longer there, it is now a beautiful garden with specially commissioned artworks.
