The D-Day Story

The D-Day Story is the only museum in the UK dedicated to the momentous events of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
The museum is home to LCT 7074, the only preserved Landing Craft Tank that was at D-Day, and the 83 metre Overlord Embroidery which depicts the events of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy in 34 hand-stitched panels.
The museum's displays tell the story through genuine wartime artefacts and the personal possessions of those that took part and witnessed this historic event.
